Bengal Chemicals might be the best-named outfit of the decade, considering how borrowing a name from a pharmaceutical company might depict uncannily well the sound of the Kolkata-based producer. Hauntingly noisy and possessed, their sound’s only constant is how sampling ends up defining the development of each sound piece, which might spam from lofi hip hop to gabber-infused outbursts, while using the full depth of bpms available in between both coordinates. We know exactly what to expect from Bengal Chemicals, we know not how loud it might be — but considering all we’ve been listening to, we just hope it gets really loud.
