aya is known for having many traits under one single skin — from activist to producer, from curator to label manager, to outspoken agitator to gentle siren for the curious. All this lives aya’s work and contributed to a release, just last year, in Kode9’s Hyperdub label, a much very much deserved validation of their prowess and unmatched potential. By using beat-making oriented for the dance floor as a reflective output on memory and its imprints in the body, aya created a singular space for dancing, mentally and physically, while drawing a place that only exists within her music. Both dreamy, glitchy, and invasive. At Mucho Flow, aya will perform with video artist Sweatmother.
